Moving Disclaimer

Please read carefully through our terms and conditions. Customers must agree to all terms and conditions when agreeing to services provided by House of Moves Elite, LLC.

• If by any chance there are damages to your items, customers must pay the full balance owed to House of Moves Elite, LLC, meaning the total amount of the move cost. Otherwise, House of Moves Elite, LLC will not honor any damage claims. In the event of an agreeable damage claim, please note that items will be assessed on an actual cash value basis.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC reserves the right to decline any claims of damage to items if unable to inspect before we move said items or, if we cannot protect items properly with moving blankets/plastic wrap.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC will not move open boxes. Before your move begins, boxes must be taped and sealed. Otherwise, those items will not be moved.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC has the right to deny any claim for damages of any items inside boxes/containers that were improperly packed by the customer unless the boxes/containers were obviously physically damaged by the movers. If items contained within boxes/containers are fragile, they MUST be clearly labeled.
• All items must be removed from entertainment centers, dressers, drawers, file cabinets, shelves, etc., or these items will not be moved.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC will advise customers of the possible risk for damage when moving any furniture made or constructed partially or totally with particle board material, chipboard, or engineered wood before the moving begins, as these products are easily damaged.
• When the flat rate/fixed rate move option is selected, House of Moves Elite, LLC will only move items specified on the invoice.
• When scheduling a move with House of Moves Elite, LLC, we will provide an estimated window of time of arrival. Please know, we

  will do our best to ensure we arrive within that window; however, sometimes, despite our best efforts, we could arrive late.

  There will not be any discounts/deductions given in this case. No Exceptions.

• House of Moves Elite, LLC may request a deposit to reserve your booking date. Once your service is scheduled, a space is

  reserved, and crews and truck routes are determined. Deposits may not be refunded in the event of a cancellation from the customer without ample notification. You may reschedule any move, but please be aware that there is a rescheduling fee of $50.00. All cancellations must be received no later than seven business days before the scheduled move date to avoid miscommunications and/or non-refundable deposits.

• House of Moves Elite, LLC’s rates are not guaranteed, so in the event, you ask us to move additional items and/or make additional stops, additional charges/fees will be incurred.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC may exclude items that, in their sole judgment, cannot be safely moved to avoid injury/damage.
• House of Moves Elite, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• Customer must report any damages to House of Moves Elite, LLC, in writing, within ten days of the delivery date and must include

  enough information for House of Moves Elite, LLC to investigate the claim. Please inspect all of your items immediately after service and before our movers leave the premises.

The customer acknowledges they have read and agreed to our terms and conditions and understands that we will not be able to move forward unless our terms and conditions are agreed to.
